In the teeth of a wintry economic climate that was to the motor industry the equivalent of the coming of the second, third and fourth ice ages; the rapture; and a visit from the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse all rolled into one, this campaign for a four-car launch for Toyota that was such a success, it was extended into twenty international territories and became the UK’s highest recalled car ad for 2009. It also ran in tandem with a nationwide print campaign including regional press, online, POS, website and direct.
